Phoebe Philo: Everything we know about the ex-Celine designer’s new own fashion brand
As Phoebe Philo Announcing in December 2017 that she would no longer design for Celine broke hearts around the world. Eventually lost Celine Philo’s departure and the new design boss Hedi Slimane not only changed his accent aigu (and since then it’s been called Celine), but also the entire aesthetic of the French label changed almost overnight.
After Phoebe Philo’s departure from Celine, the pain was great and various protest and memorial Instagram profiles were launched. The best known are probably “Oldceline” with more than 390 thousand followers and “Phoebephilodiary” with more than 160 thousand followers.

Phoebe Philo: Her long-awaited fashion comeback is finally taking shape
After more than three years of “abstinence”, the glimmer of hope for all Phoebe Philo fans came in 2020: several sources announced that the popular designer was planning her own label. But after the first ecstasy it didn’t go any further, Phoebe Philo herself didn’t comment on the rumors for a long time, and the rumored launch date of January 2022 came and went without us hearing anything from the label.
And now this: In early February 2023, the designer herself announced the launch date of her long-awaited eponymous label on Instagram. In a simple text post, it reads: “Our first collection will be unveiled and available on our website, phoebephilo.com, in September 2023.” And further: “Registrations will be possible from July 2023, and we look forward to hearing from each other again.”
