Paint Easter eggs: Here’s how!
Here is our top 5 coolest and easiest Easter DIYs.
Paint Easter eggs with line art illustrations
Admittedly, line art takes a bit of practice. Tip: Practice the course of the line on a piece of paper before you switch to the egg.
What you need for this DIY:
- blown chicken eggs or plastic eggs
- acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Pencil
- Eraser
- black permanent marker
- hot glue gun (for hanging)
- ribbon (for hanging)
How to do it:
- Draw a spot on the egg with a brush and paint. Your line art will be drawn on it later. The paint must dry well, then paint on a second layer so that the paint covers well and looks even.
- Now carefully outline the illustration with a pencil. Small mistakes can be corrected with an eraser.
- In the last step, take the marker and draw the illustration. Complete!
If you want to hang the eggs, just attach a piece of ribbon with some hot glue.
